A man wrapped into a national flag describes the events during 24h. In the story he reveals that it was the day when Finland won the ice hockey world cup. He describes thoroughly how he stole the Finnish national flag and finally desecrated it in a nationalistic frenzy. The acts described in the story are problematic and absurd since the character is manifesting his nationality but at the same time breaking the rules of his own community by desecrating the national symbol.
