GARDEN OF ORIGINALITIES, Tatu Engeström & Joni Kärkkäinen, Yö-Gallery Helsinki, 2023
The Garden of Originalities is a collaboration between Tatu Engeström and Joni Kärkkäinen. The exhibition is an installation of architectural elements the artists collaborated on, and includes solo works as well. The starting point of the collaboration has been both artists’ relationship with an ever-changing city. The works are made from materials collected from construction sites and demolition sites, such as blue construction site fence, waste aluminum and abandoned hardwood planks.
